I stopped to see where all the glares were aimed.

Watching the boy with guilty eyes
As he was eyeing up his prey
Another crime is on the way.

In the dry, narrow minds
Of the Witch-Hunt crowd
Passing judgments down
On those who stray
From the accepted ways

She was elderly, and needed aid.
"The doors stuck", she gently cursed.
We watched his eyes fall on her purse.
And the lady near me screamed
As he reached across her sleeve

And the blind lead the blind
Amongst the Witch-Hunt crowd
Passing judgments down.
With intent to save
Another day

The boy was hastily subdued
His good intentions never proved.

By the trite and unkind
Dramatic Witch-Hunt crowd
Passing judgments down
On those who may
Pose a threatening way,
In their mind
